Xbox 360 tech support LLLLLLLLLLLOL

i've called tech support 5 times now. they couldn't fix my problem so they kept me on the line for over an hour, than transfered me to a ''higher power'' being a supervisor, who than proceeded to tell me that the repair agents will call me on this date, at whatever time, and get my repair going stat. Thank you microsoft for making me sit through hours of crap just to transfer me to another place after 5 damn calls, and probably still will not get my system fixed.

For all this crap I should have got a new console.Has this happened to you?Oh and not to mention their static techno hold music, and tech support agents that I cannot understand.Xbox 360 tech support LLLLLLLLLLLOL
What did we learn today kids? Never call on a weekday.Xbox 360 tech support LLLLLLLLLLLOL
Never call them ever, they are helpless.
No just dont call them on a weekday, you get call centres in onlybillknowswhere.Call them first thing saturday morning and you get to speak to a real live American person (even if your in the UK) and they never jerk you around unless your trying to cancel your LIVE subscription, even then they still do it after 5 minutes of asking you why.
I got an american lady today, she was really nice etc, so I guess I got lucky.I'm just getting so frustrated because they put my repair thing through, i've waited 9 days and no box from purolator.I called them with my tracking number and they told me they don't have anything on file for me.I then proceeded to call xbox back a 5th time, and they told me I have a ghost repair, and it can't be helped by them so they transfered me to an xbox supervisor, who then told me their repair experts are going to call me and fix it.They are jerking me around and it's getting to the point of madness.
I just got the ring of death myself. Tried to play GoW, and BOOM, no more 360...Hope I can get it fixed. How does that work? They take my box and fix it, then in a few weeks I can play again? Maybe I should buy a new one. Do the new ones still have all the problems the first ones did? Like Ring of death.
Everyone has bad experiences with large companies at some point or another.Unfortunately that can't be helped much, sometimes they will just jerk you around. :\ Like me for example, I will NOT use Amazon anymore after they flat out stole my money without sending product, then told me no record of my order was on system and stopped replying to my complaints until it came time to tell me that my 60 day time frame for making a complaint had expired. Despite the fact their customer support had told me to wait 80 days for the product to arrive from overseas...Sure, GAME might be more expensive, and eBay a little more consistently risky, but after that experience i'll take my chances, and I did and have not looked back since.Hopefully they will get things together, thankfully the only time i've had to call them was to cancel my account, and I found the call centre people just would not do that, as soon as I said the word 'cancel' and 'account' they were all ''Ohh, my english not so good, maybe you call back later?'' Until someone told me to phone back at the weekend, so I did and got a real nice lady who helped me out with no problems at all.
Funny that. Last year, when I had to sent my console in, I was put on to an American. Ended up having to ring again to follow up an issue - my HDD hadn't been sent out when I specifically asked the guy to submit a repair order. Safe to say, he was an idiot.

Last week, when I cancelled my Live Gold subscription and removed all debit cards associated with it, I was put through to an Asian call centre. He may not have spoken particularly good English but he was intelligent enough to complete a request and didn't mess me around. I was asked once why I wanted to cancel, said ''because I don't want a Gold account anymore'' and there was no hastle.

ALL calls were made in the afternoon on a weekday.

Depending on your area, on xbox's website under support they have the numbers you can call.If you have the 3 red lights, it is covered under a 3 year warranty, any other light combo is going to cost you from 100 dollars and up.They ship you a box which takes 3-7 days, than you put only your console in the box with the required info, give it to your nearest Ups place, and then after apparently 3-4 weeks you get your console back in working condition, and 1 month gold live for the inconvience.I have no idea if the new ones have this issue or not. I hope they don't because it appears i'll have to buy a new one, since xbox repair center has failed me, 5 times now.
''oh sorry, cannot speak english well, baibai'' lolthat pisses me off so much -_-
you should try e-mail them - from the replies I was getting I can only assume that its some automated system that works off key words in your mail. The e-mail replies I was getting were nothing to do with what I asked.
