Xbox Live is it worth it?

I just bought a 360 and have the pro edition and 4 games, 2 came with it; graw 2 and vegas, and i bought halo 3 and oblivion goty edition. they are all really fun but i don't have xbox live and it costs $50/yr. 1) is it worth it with the current games i have? remember i just got a 360 and 2 games so im set back a few bucks.2) lotr conquest is my next most interested game, will it have applications for it?I have owned a wii since 2006 and love the nintendo wi-fi for mario kart wii, will i get the same cliber experience on live? what can i come to expect it costs a whole $50 so i hope it at least is on par with mario kart wii online with my current games.Xbox Live is it worth it?
Vegas,GRAW2,and Halo 3 are pretty much 100 times better with live. Also Live is easier to use than Nintendos friend codes. Well worth $50. Plus those games have the ability to talk unlike the wii.Xbox Live is it worth it?

I've had live for about a month and I think its definetely worth it. I mainly got XBL because of Halo 3.
It depends. I hardly game online, so paying even 4 bucks a month would be a waste. If you play online quite a bit, those are fairly good games with a fleshed out online component.
You Get a 1 month trail if you click join xbox live and go for the silver (free) membership and they will give you a month to try it outBut I couldnt live a day without it
the games you have listed are perfect for a good live experience one thing i may reconmend is call of duty 4 then your live experience is almost complete. And the 50$ is very well spent for one year because live is just amazing
