Hey Everyone,I have a new site www.couchmercenaries.com. It's not selling anything or promoting services....just a site to promote gaming community. Awesome name, and like the site.You seem to have a good grasp on the ''Rent it, Buy it, Pass it'' ratings. I really like the idea. I just disagree with the Rent It on Uncharted. Probably the best single player game on the PS3 imo. And Warhawk's ground combat isn't bad at all.The Couch Mercenaries
Yeah, we have a number of people doing contributions to the site so on the review side....it may not always reflect what the massess feel in terms of a games rating,etc.
I definitely like the name and the review system and are the reason I'm taking time to make some comments as it seems you've actually put some thought into it, etc as opposed to most of the ''sites'' we see go up.I honestly don't have time to listen to podcasts, so unfortunately can't give you any feedback. I like that there's a +Zune button though ;)The background kinda resembles a cow more than camo... or maybe that's just me!My main critique would be that it doesn't seem to do anything I haven't seen anywhere else. As of now it's a site with a clever name, a nice clear interface and layout, and a good review system base (a better start than most I would say). You need to find your ''niche'' if you want more than a passing interest. You have to capture people's attention with something unique first, and then you can branch out to news and stuff (since people can get that anywhere, why would they keep coming back?).Hope that helps a bit.
