I don't think so. As much success as Bungie's had with the Halo series, I think they want to expand their horizons.

They said already that the games were to be a trilogy.Halo Wars is going to be a prequel though. It is supposed to be set on the first planet that the covenant had attacked.

Probably not, but the Halo series is worth so much there will be more in it's universe.
A lot of people say that there can't be a number 4 but I think there is still a lot of possibilities for one.

[/QUOTE] They still have other Halo rings that have flood, the Brutes may be wanting revenge against the Elites and the humans, there may be other prophets on their homeworld that would seek out the other rings......its just as if they left alot of ifs. I don't want another one, but there is the possibility.

The only thing that would suck with that theory is that they could keep making endless Halo games because there are always going to be Brutes, Flood, and Prophets. I hope Halo Wars is gonna' shed some light on the Halo universe.

I really like Halo so I would like to think that there will be more Halo games like Halo 1-3. I don't think it will be Halo 4 though, maybe like a prequel (but not Halo Wars, an FPS) like someone said maybe. Halo is Microsoft and Bungie's gold mine basically, one way or another they are gonna at least make a couple more Halo games, aside from Halo Wars and Chronicles.
What about the ending when you beat it on legendary where you see the MC's ship drifting towards that unidentified blue planet? Looks a little like Bungie put that end in there just in case they do decide to revisit the Master Chief's storyline. Now I'm not arguing that Bungie should or is going make another Halo but I dont think it's not entirely out of the realm of possibilities just yet.
