One of the greats???

Okay, so if you look past the real minor flaws with GTA IV, it is truly a special and intriguing video game experience. With that said, for all of you that love this game, could this rank up there with your list of your favorite games of all time? I know that it reaches my Top 15, then again, I don't nit pick like many gamers do. Let's hear your opinion...One of the greats???
it blew me away at first but im starting to get a little fed up w/ the car chases. id say its up there w/ mass effect and cod4One of the greats???
I completely agree with you. The car chases are very very annoying. Other than that I love it!
I've got a lot of issues with GTA IV (repetitive mission design, laggy multiplayer, difficult achievements, change from San Andreas) but I love the game. If a game is good enough for people to look past the flaws, it should be ranked very high.

im not going to bash the game but i think that it deserves more like an 8/10 or something along those lines it just seems like the missions become more and more redundant. its like go kill these people oh no they have a car chase them down and kill them. there are so many missions like that and it seems like the innovation that used to make the franchise so good is no longer there because it feels like we have done this before. i cant say its one of the beat games that i have ever played. but it deserve to be recognized as its a great open world an amazing physics engine the missions and the gameplay have just worn out on me.
I haven't gotten far enough into the game to really know just how great it is, but I've been having a blast with it. I feel like those 10s were handed out awful fast, though.
its within my top 10 favorite games but it in no way deserves a 10/10, it doesnt really add anything new and better than the previous gta's
I sort of wish it was like Oblivion where you could go in like every building. That would be great for the GTA series.

That would be great for the GTA series.[/QUOTE]you can go into and on top of a lot of buildings that weren't shown in the main storyline. the only problem is there are so many more buildings that can't be entered. maybe somebody will make a map showing which buildings are enterable....
