Grenades are pretty fun to mess with, and the shotgun is pretty satisfying blowing people away.
m4carbine is great with the zoom on but i also love he mp5
i found the grenades massively useful in the bigger gunfights. but i think my favourite gun for general mischief is the MP5. It would be the M4, but a) its too expensive, and b) you can't run as fast with it. RPG is pretty fun too, but again, the massive expense dampens its appeal.

Yes. I love the pistol.
I love the AK in GTA, I don't know why it just feels and looks awesome. My second fav is a tie bewteen the Combat Pistol and the Shotty they both pack a huge punch.
AK47. Quite simply my favorite weapon in ANY game as long as that game doesn't also include the AK74 series or any German WW2 weapon. The ratta-tat-tat the AK makes never ceases to put a smile on my face when mowing down mobsters.
Combat pistol. It is so badass. Even if it is more practical to use a combat shotgun or combat assault rifle, something about pistols rings true for me. I destroy with that.
After using the combat pistol (desert eagle) for an extended period of time I decided to go back to the standard pistol (glock). Even though the combat pistol is technically the superior gun, I find the glock much more satisfying to use.Aside from the glock, the combat shotgun is my favorite weapon. Nothing like unloading 10 rounds in a few seconds into the front windshield on an approaching cop car.Edit: Typos
