xbox 360 breaking down

I was thinking of getting a xbox 360 but I keep on hearing on how much it breaks down and gets the red ring of death. So how often does it break down?xbox 360 breaking down
GEt Falcon model the failure rate is low for that model i.e 12-13% currently so thats quite good or normal or wait till August 22 if you can a new model Jasper would be released and it is gonna have muvh lower failure rate 5%. But the old model where pretty much high in failure rates. So if you get new ones you will not be having problems.
